I accidentally came upon OogaBooga while randomly googling for fancy vĂȘtements and I am fucking psyched that it popped up! Where else am I going to find Calvin Johnson mix tapes or 5$ Ian Svenonius DVDs?! Are you kidding me? is this a music/art/rare trinket wet dream? They also have a great assortment of clothing and accessories to appease the vain fashion B in me including such trixy to find online lines as Bless and Opening Ceremony. If this wasn't enough to make your /my slightly inebriated head spin, they are having a pretty epic sale as well right now. So, if you didn't spend your entire stimulus check on "untraceables" (read: 'dro/'alch) spend the rest here.

polyvore polyamorous
Polyvore is an online fashion community where members can mix and match items of clothing to match the simplest or most obscure, complex theme. Chosen outfits (called 'sets) are shown on the main page and honored for various adherence to contest rules or good eye. Anyone with blogger can register use it and I am kind of freaking out. It's like dressing up like my style-est dreams without maxing out my credit card OR having to you know, actually get up and get dressed. The site was created by ex-yahoo, google, and ebay employees and is really easy to navigate and welcoming to all that use it. The member code of conduct prohibits online bullying or diva-ness that naturally would occur in an anonymous fashion environment. You can make whatever set you like and they have a pretty extensive library of images from places like net-a-porter, ms.selfridges, browns, forever21, zappos, amazon, and with the option to add photos from your photobucket it can get as custom as you want. It's really nice to see interactive fashion-sites that are so well thought-out and keep members involved and it's a really brilliant advertising tool to boot.
