skin and bones exhibition

the MOCA is ran an exhibit that traced the symmetry between fashion designers and architects. aligning one next to the other and displaying attention to form, space, detail, and function. noting how both disciplines start with the human body and growing to items, spaces, or products that adorn or protect the user. thinking about and exploring these similarities help both areas reach an elevated level of design and i am all for marrying between these families. art/design-incest is where its at.

lace is frilly, delicate, tender, and ultra femme yes?
no. not for miuccia prada. her lace is handmade (moneymoneymoneyyy), modern, dense, while retaining an airiness as lended by the sheerness of the fabrics, and forceful without being overpowering. check out the whole collection on style.com its alll good. prince out ya'll.
