ACNE IS COMING/IN THE US!!!!! Acne studio opens in NYC soonish and i am crying and vomiting from despair that i cannot get there and that i am so fucking excited to have what is easily my favorite brand closer to me! The studio will sell mens and womens clothes and accessories and soon! furniture and small industrial goods,a childrens line, and men's and women's underwear. now i can really spiral into crippling debt. whatever ill eat beanie weenies and drink schlitz if that allows me to have everything they offer ever.

marni-tellectual

marni and prada, jointly, are knows as the thinking woman's italian labels. not brash and overt like other brands that rhyme with snersace and snucci or snolce and snobanna. there are generally two schools of opinion on marni and prada's designs: some say their intellectual clothing is moniker just code for ugly shit that no one looks good in. others, like this'n over here, say to that party stick-and-stones-may-shut your-trap-cause-no-one-asked-you. give me these marni items for s/s 08 pls.

seen/met designers in akward places

so last week i saw costello tagliapetra at SIL (a zipper store) they were very much the design bears they are portrayed to be IRL and totally cute. also, i met samantha pleet at work. she loves pirate chic and has big faux plans for binky fleece/fur. these two sets were way more interesting to encounter than keri russel. designers: 1 celebs:0
